A inflamed rivalry hurtles the human-dragon contention toward its fiery conclusion.

Query material:

Vhakula dreams to reign eternal over his fellow dragons, but his rival Kannutae thwarts him by using a stolen wish to transform him into a human. While Vhakula tries in vain to shed his humanity, Kannutae savagely establishes himself as dragon king and proclaims his intent to snuff out the torch of mankind. It is only when the opportunity arises for Vhakula to regain his old life that he realizes his heart no longer belongs to the dragons of his past. So in spite of his birthright, Vhakula assembles a motley army to protect those he loves; and when the time for drastic action comes, he steps up to make the ultimate sacrifice.
